Then take your likes slap them into whatever program you use, add some wicked text, give it lit detail and... Boom, a baby wait I mean skin has been born! >;D
I probably didn't help. But yeah, what are your likes...? k
Well, to answer your question, I will start by stating exactly the opposite of what you asked. I dislike anime itself, but I think the art in some of the characters is really well-done. So ironically, anime is not off for consideration. In fact, it might be one of my frontrunners.
I have little to no interest in animals, though I could see myself using an animal skin in desperation
Lastly, if I keep talking about my likes and dislikes, this post will drag on, so I think I should stop typing
But I think I DO have a better yet still not lucid idea of where I'm headed, in terms of image choice. What if I just use my profile pic lol

Many say that I possess a talent
but sometimes it is very hard to find an idea only with the name without knowing a minimum on the person
And yes just with windows paint can do something surprising
What do you use to make your skins? Also, I thank you for your ideas. On a side note, if it helps, I'm avoiding humor--I know you recommended to avoid the orange slice dead--as much as I love making silly banter
I actually like the orange slice as for when I use my other name "Orange Sydney". Lol
As for your likes and dislikes, seems too blur of a description

Orange slices are:
delicious...
round...
and an excellent source of natural sugar!

~hops up onto a stump and considers for a second~
"Is she suggesting I eat more or less acorns? Not consider the acorn as a skin? And that I am some kind ofd complex protein?"
~can think of good & bad meanings for both answers to the 1st part~
Maybe she's paying me back for not saying what I say more concisely. :|
~sits up, facing her, with his 'beg-for-nuts' schtick, but hoping for knowledge instead~

@ Squirrel It was my attempt at humor by responding in the same format as your orange slices poem
However, I like the idea of an acorn skin! :oD

~tries to consider if that's a good thing or bad thing~
Say... Do you like poems??
Keep 'em posts coming! I figure if I can get you to reply, the message wasn't that bad. :|

@ Sugar you soak the acorns for a few days to get the tannin's out, then dry roast them. Once dried out you can take the "meat" out and make a flour out of them that's suitable for bread or making a nutritious paste (think terrible tasting peanut butter). It's thought that people survived off of them in the past, and quite possibly they were more edible when our appendix's actually did something. I've eaten them, and they really aren't that great, but not all bad either...there's tons of things that we forgot we can eat that are really pretty good, like young cattails...tastes like an asparagus/corn cross.

If it looks like a cattail, good luck trying to get me to eat it. :|
So I guess they had tp be really young!
I had a cattail in my apartment for yyyyears growing up -- my mom and I cut it down as a reminder of the place we used to vacation, and put it in a vase as decoration.
