Intelligent Life In Space?
#1
Question
We've All Pondered About This Question Some Point in Life.

With Millions and Millions Of Other Planets, Not To Mention Millions Of Galaxies Who's to Say There Other Life!

With Humans Evolving Over the Years and Our Current Mission To Mars, This Could Be A Mind Blowing Phenomenon If We Found Life In The Near Future.

What Are Your Thoughts?

You wouldn't find life... but you might find a planet that misght display some signs that it could ostensibly support life.

The odds are soooo low, though. (The planet has to have the right basic elements, and water. The planet has to orbit within a tight ring of space so the planet never gets too hot or too cold... and it has to have an atmosphere that will even those two extremes out some. Oxygen would help too. With a significant enough planetary gravitational field so as to not release the atmosphere, but not so significant that the life forms couldn't actually move around.)

As for traveling there?! Light travels at the speed of light. That's very incredibly fast. And the light has probably been 'en route' for years. To get there, (or vice-versa) you'd literally have to be eternal.

All your life you've been waiting for your chance,
Pray you'll fit into the Plan.
But you're the master of your own destiny,
So give and take the best that you can!

Welll.... do you mean along the lines of "Unidentified Flying Objects", and the like??

Those do keep happening, but almost all of them end up having a perfectly logical explanation, and so on.

We can only really detect those if they come close enough to the Earth As much as we can find out about the universe, we still have lots of lomitations.

And I don't think anyone should be concerned with aliens, because (a) if there are any, they probably can't get here and still be alive; and (b) if aliens DID exist, and they knew something about physics that we don't know yet, that could put us within their reach, and they wanted to make contact, they probably already would have.

If you want to visit 'government conspiracies'... mayyybe aliens sent scouts, and there has been contact, and the government covered it up?? But that is soooo implausible, when you think of all the things that were covered up, only to be exposed evemtually.

Covering something up requires dedicated people, and now, more so than ever, (ie: WikiLeaks) there are examples of people who are determined enough to infiltrate and expose things that they feel strongly enough should be.

I can't think of anything more startling than such a revelation, so again, if it had happened... or if it does in the future, I'm pretty sure that we'll hear about it.
