I haven't seen any obvious bots in the public game.

But the battle against bots by a developer tends to be an on-going thing. When the developer manages to identify them in some way, theose who made the bots will diversify, and try to figure out what the developer did to spot a bot. If it's on the server-side, the bot developers have to do it without an oppotunity to reverse-engineer the code, unless they manage to compromise a server that is running the code.

Sooner or later, you can expect that to happen. Once they compromise the server, then the developers code becomes reverse-engineerable, and the war is on again.

I for one, have enjoyed this bot-less period.
