to limit a member/player with time she/he have to do her/his post is kinda difficult to put into practice

I think my your tip (you wrote that first) is still the best solution about that "issue" that happens when 2 members/players post numbers close to each other :

Check your post/number AFTER you posted it, that way you can see if it is correct and you are able to correct it if it is not.
If an other member/player posted a correct number faster than you were able to correct yours, NOTHING is lost, you can still go on with counting for your team you chosed  Exclamation
Just delete your wrong post/number OR accept it that your wrong number was ignored.
Search short time for the last correct number and start counting correct again  Exclamation
