LKD is a programmer. And a fairly experienced one, not like most of the members here who say they 'code'. This means he is generaly logical, and has a brain. The chances of you convincing him he did something wrong in mathematics, is so small, you should stop trying. (He likely rechecked the first time, to make sure.)

I have a feeling that if I went back trying to figure it out (but, quite frankly, I'm sick and tired of being a perfectionist -- I think of perfectionism as a disease now), I figure there's at least a 50-50 chance I'd agree with him.
