Once in a blue moon here (once every 3 to 5 yrs, I figure, in this case) you'll wake up and there'll be some of that... but almost never. If it does happen, it might just be tiny wisps, and at other times you squint to see where the streetlights are. Another thing that makes me glad that I don't drive... lol.

I hear that it happens a lot in England, but I'm not sure if I should believe it. Maybe it's just a rumour that makes books like 'Hound of the Baskervilles' all that much better. (lol)

They claim that at 4 degrees Celcius, I am going to see "mixed precipitation" tonight.

Which means they predict there'll be a skating rink for a parking lot when I get off work.

It turns out they were almost right.

Although it both rained and snowed, the ground stayed warm enough that the water would not freeze, and instead, the result was basically a thin layer of slush all over everything.

I hate slush. But there wasn't enough of it to breach my shoes, so in this case, I'd have hated ice worse.
