I like this idea as a way of people "duelling"... Perhaps allow spectators who could shout encouragements to their fighter... lol. And possibly have the results prominently displayed in an area?

You could also easily set parameters on it, such as "best of 7" or a set number of rounds, things like that.

And perhaps it would cost coins to enter such a match?
