This is a typical trance song, it seems, and today leaves me feeling... crushed.
You know... happy-upbeat tune, with the smile, and the "everything's fine with me" look, and the lyrics that cracks your heart from sheer pressure, and imbues a sense of hopelessness.
Yeah. It's too weird, how many of the trance songs are like that. Maybe this music is made for... the people who had dreams, gave up, and now just want the "soma" treatment, so they can pretend to feel good until they croak.
I'd summarrize this song this way: "I think I finally found the person I was meant to be with, but they're Already Gone."

Man. I have a serious love/hate relationship with those kind of songs, not specifically trance songs, but songs that leave you totally crushed.
One that I really love/hate is Faded by Alan Walker, which isn't trance, but it's still cool, and Alone by Marshmello (plus, the first half of the music video for Alone is literally a summary of my childhood - *Kid goes to school* - *Kid gets bullied and everyone thinks he is a weirdo* - *Kid goes home and DJs the night away in his bedroom to make himself a bit happier again* - *Repeat* ).
