is there any way where I can join a session that is closing? (no more playes joininig it)

No clear explanation for your question... 

But as far as i know, there is no known way to do so. However, of course, if your intent is to play in a server that prevents players from joining, you can simply leave your game on spectate until you know for sure that no more players are joining.

But where's the fun in that, right?  Dodgy

If you're talking about the public game, and you've already been playing there with a "Party Request", where it gives you a URL for inviting friends, if that doesn't work to get back to the game, then I'd say you're out of luck.

If you're playing the public game, have no-one to really invite, but occasionally like the crowd in a particular game, and want to get back there with them, then I would try the 'Party request' even though you have no-one to invite... You might be able to use it to get back in there.

And if you ever figure out (assuming my suggestions even mattered, since I'm purely guessing on the situation you were in) whether it works, I do hope you'll come back and share!
