I think a large part of the appeal of this game, is how easy it is, and the limited # of rules and capabilities. You can still have quite a lot of fun with it... But if you're bent on making tons of videos of new things that you did... sure, I can see you running out of ideas eventually.
How about catching some of the dumb things people do in the game? I find that that's what makes me laugh the most.
And why not expand from FFA to Teams/Experimental/Party? I find Teams games more fast-paced than FFA, because people are willing to split more, and take bigger chances.
In FFA, you never know when you'll encounter someone almost double your size, and then wish you were 1 ball, instead of 2. I find that you need to play more conservatively in FFA, for that reason.

Maybe play on private servers.. instant merge or something
