Hi Plymouth, and welcome aboard!

Why don't you tell us a little bit about yourself, and how you came to be here? That helps some to start to get to know you, and maybe you'll find some new friends and good times out here!

Nice to have you introduce yourself! Smile

Yeah, you and Apix should get along, if you like old cars!

I can't belileve you guys had a car from 1936 -- that's so old!

But, even though you miss it, I'm sure he made a good decision. Here's hoping he got top-dollar for it, and who knows, maybe part of what he got for it will end up putting you through college!

Do your old man proud! (Old cars aren't the only important old thing around... lol. So sayeth the old-daddy-Rodent in your midst!)

Hi, nice to meet you. I have been a fan of cars all my life as well but I do mainly focus on model cars. I like the really small ones mainly. I'm from Europe so I'm mainly familiar with European cars although I like anything as long as it fits within my hand. Wink

I alaways forget that there are these barbaric countries in the world... where parents have to for pay the education of their children. I hope in Canada it's not going that way? Tongue

The government here subsidizes the cost of higher education (college and university)... In the USA, where typically you pay $10K-$20K/yr to attend, here in Canada, it's only $5K-$10K/yr.

~eyes glaze over, as he recalls his own~

It was 1981... and I was going to the University of Toronto. My tuition was all of $1800.00! Buying books was another $500.00 or so.

If you're American, your folks can either afford it, or if not... a lot of the young folk decide to enlist in one or another of the branches of their Armed FOrces, where after you complete some training and do at least one tour (I forget exactly how it works), the US Military pays for your university education.
