Please vote...my research/bet

Ok so here is the deal...I have a bet with someone, so please give your honest feedback.  The question is this.... when you eat a lot of jalapeño's, does it burn when they finally make their exit?

I'd like to appeal logically to everyone on this one...

When you eat a jalapeno, it can be the only thing there, and your tongue processes the pheromones, and translates that into heat.

But if something burns on the way out, you have no way of proving what did it!

And besides... I eat jalapenos by the handfulls and have never experienced anything coming out 'hot'... Only going in!

So hopefully you'll all think about this logically, before you cast a vote!!

certain types of peppers do burn on the way out. not so much jalapenos, but definitely thai peppers and scotch bonnets....I've had a$$es of fire many a time after an extra spicy batch of Chinese food or some heavy duty jerk sauce! So it's hard for me to vote, as your question specifically states jalapenos (which I gotta side with Mr Squirrel on)....

I'm not crazy about Schofield (not sure if I'm spelling it right), and his 'hotness chart/scale', but personally I don't care about how much heat something has, it's the tastes that I crave -- and I just happen to love the taste of jalapenos.

I'm also led to believe that your body becomes 'accustomed' to a certain level of hotness, so that, essentially... the more of a certain kind of pepper that you eat... the more you'll have to eat next time, to achieve the same level of 'heat'.

Maybe I just ramped it up so gradually, that I never experienced the exit burning?? I dunno.

Oh when my uncle was little, he ate some jalapenos and then when they were making its exit, it burned like crazy. But I don't think it happens always.
