Recent exams

So in these periods, a lot of people are having exams.

I would just like to mention a quote I think @SPAM000 would say:
Quote:In mother russia, exam nails you

For all lucky people not living in Russia, go nail your exams!
-Saruman," I said, standing away from him, "You shall not pass". Saruman said, "I've got powerups". That's the day I learnt, it was best to play on another server. Much rather guard the secret room. It's very nice, grows the old toby. I like the old toby. Sometimes it even unleashes some magical mushrooms that make my world twice as fast. They call it the 2x speed shroom.

I think @SPAM000 should say this about exams:

Tired of living.

There are some courses at the UofT, which I attended years back, which are probably just as bad as Mother Russia.

In particular, first year programs, where the # of enrolled students is much higher than what they accept for the 2nd year of the program are the places where the university / college is just looking at that 1st year course as a revenue stream.

(1st yr enrollment - 2nd yr enrollment) / 1st yr enrollment * 100 is the percentage of people in the 1st year that are essentially revenue chaff --- they'll be mysteriously gone 2nd year. So if you take in 2000 1st year, and 200 2nd, then it's perfectly fine for 90% of the students to fail.

I had an exam where the class average was 34%. ~snicker~ It was a bloodbath.

So for those of you looking at programs, don't just look at 1st year enrollment. Look at 2nd and 3rd year tyoo! Anyone who's left at 3rd year, they want to have graduate with stars... because that will be better for the institution's image.

Sadly, it's all a game, and you, my friends, are the pawns.
Fight the Good Fight

Make it worth the price we pay!
All your life you've been waiting for your chance,
Pray you'll fit into the Plan.
But you're the master of your own destiny,
So give and take the best that you can!

Tests are always hard, especially if it's some large block of text you want to memorize.
