I love the idea of keeping this thread alive, in the name of the people that we miss...

And one of the easiest to remember is Mikasa. He may have been facing a lot of stuff himself, but he tried to shield us from that, and was just a breath of fresh air for us.

Yeah, young guys just LOVE to ignore their problems. Many feel that they are taught to, and that it's part of "Guys do not show emotion" training.

But ya know, "Life is what you make it", and around here, I like to encourage the dudes to be more proactive. There aren't many that care about you, more than you...

If you're lucky, you have one bestie and a wingman. But you don't tell them everything, cause you figure they don't want to hear it.

Most of us will have 2 parents who care, but many of us don't even want to share stuff from our lives, and the only thing that's okay... is asking them for money. :| (And some of us only have one parent, or even zero who care.)

So yeah, joke about it, but don't live it!!

Your future happiness tends to stall in neutral if you're always busy not thinking about the cr@p in your lives. And often there's more ways out than your likely depression leads you to believe.

A key rule I believe in, "Never fight depression alone!"

And... I'm not saying that you are depressed. But I remember vaguely my teen years, and how that goes.

I could have learned a lot more, and had a much better paying job, if I hadn't spent so much time ignoring stuff, or being depressed.

Drive-by's happen on Discord all the time, lol.

You know....

Person A @ mentions Person B, says something... continues talking with the others...

20 mins later, out of the blue, Person B walks in, responds with 3-4 lines and leaves during the 5 minute span when the chat was quiet... And Person A comes back, and grinds their teeth, realizing that they are already gone again. (lol)

Discord really is a wrecking ball to itself.

Pretty much sounds like whenever I ever message an online friend and we're both trying to talk. Always just keep leaving seconds before the other joins... xD
