for anyone making skins

I may have been the only one, but I wrongly thought the minimum skin size was 520x520, it's actually 512x512. I was trying to help someone make a skin with a "reveal ring" and had to do some research. So correct me if I'm wrong, but anything 512x512 pixels and up will fill a skin dimmensions, and anything smaller will leave a blank area.

this post was also wrong....the higher quality image the better! go ahead and make the image at 1000x1000, if you need blank reveal space, just crop a circle, and paste it in the center of a transparent background that is larger than your image. the image scales down automatically, so no sense trying to make a skin at 512x512. I guess bigger IS better....learn something new everyday, sorry for disseminating incorrect info for the last few weeks, some independent searching proved myself wrong.
