After re-reading your post, it sounds like the place you visited was NOT a Korean restaurant. Either you could be describing it incorrectly or I could be interpreting it incorrectly, but Koreans typically do not do any sort of thing where you "fill the bottom with a light sauce" (Squirrel).

Wow this looks amazing!!! I would stay here for hours if only there are no consequence with eating too much.
