I hope that you can get your e-mail account back! But yes, it's soooo important to log out properly anytime you use a computer where there can be more users other than just yourself!

As well, remember the current standards for a 'safe password'... A minimum of 8 characters (system administrators use 13+!) with a mix of upper/lower case, numbers and special characters. And the more random-looking, the better!
