Hmm, it should be possible.. it lets you authenticate either with Google or FB, right? But I did mine with FB, so if there's anything different about doing it through Google, I don't know what it is.

You’ll have to provide your user name and password through the app. Then, your guest account information (coins, DNA, skins and XP) will be saved.
